Design Suites Bariloche - San Carlos de Bariloche

We explored Isla Victoria and took a day trip to Cerro Tronador. The place has great views and the staff is super friendly. Just a heads up, there's no air conditioning, so it can get warm at night, but they provided us with fans. A chill spot for a group getaway!

Can't recommend highly enough this place and will be back. It was clean with very very helpful staff.

Nicely decorated and new-fashioned rooms, accommodating staff at reception desk. Great pool, parking onsite. Shuttle available to or from town if needed. Outstanding food, excellent and amazing location to the forest. Short walk to the lake close to the city, and the restaurant at night.

The suite was fine with very nice views of the lake and mountains. Breakfast was tasty, offering a nice variety. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hot tub was a great way to unwind. A wonderful experience 🌄

Stayed here for a christmas party and it was wonderful. The room was spacious with amazing views of the lake, and every morning began with a delicious breakfast spread. The staff were great.

VERY LITTLE NOISE INSULATION. Extremely loud from room to room. You can hear every footstep from above, every shower and toilet flush from next door. Great place but take earplugs!

The hotel entrance is very steep. If you are going in on foot its very tiresome. Should of have some stairs. The queen size bed are 2 single beds together. You can feel it when you lay down in the middle of the bed.

The views from the terrace were amazing. Breakfast had its highlights, especially paired with that fine scenery.

The staff was unfriendly since the very first moment. We had to ask for every single thing INCLUDED in our booking (lake view, two single beds, jacuzzi) and they rolled their eyes for every request and did as they would have saved the world by providing them. The rooms (junior Suite) were quite big, Great Lake view but the bed linen was old and dirty and the shower was quite dirty. They have a pool and sauna, that could be really nice. although the water is clean the pool area is dirty and the tiles of the pool are broken so you heart yourself pretty much every time you touch the pool! Keep swimming! The restaurant is pretty good. the breakfast and dinner are great, minus the unfriendly but sexy staff. ;)) some waiters are hot!

Rude front desk staff who treated us poorly during checkout.

Modern, airy, well-designed with very welcoming staff (except for one waitress who was consistently aloof and abrupt). The hotel is about 3km from town so generally you will need to take a cab every time you come or go if you don't have a car. No problem whatsoever if you are driving yourself and there is ample parking. The location overlooking the lake is lovely and views from the restaurant are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The shuttle service up the hill to the various buildings was very convenient.

The rooms that face the back have no view at all. There are no lounge chairs provided at the pool and the space there is quite limited so it's really not possible to relax outside or sunbathe. (There are a number of small tables and chairs outside the front of the clubhouse and these are great for conversation but not relaxation.) Breakfast is nice except for the bacon which is served almost raw in a large pan of grease. Maybe this is the Argentine style but I can't imagine how anyone could eat it.

Very disappointing! The best example of how pictures can be lying! Located on a main road with lots of trafic! No welcoming at check in, the first thing you are asked to do is pay!!!!!

No hospitality at all, especially 'Barbara' at the reception is very unfriendly and rude. We booked a suite with lake view fir over 560 USD 2 nights and found ourself in bloc D facing ugly bloc C and noisy parking area. Complaining did not help, in a very rude manner she told us to upgrade! Did not sleep at all the first night as machines installed next to our room were regulating water pressure and toilet was flushing every 5 minutes!!! Hotel description does not mention that rooms are installed in 4 different blocs, far away from main building on a steepy hill!

Couples looking for a cozy retreat

The view from the room was lovely,, we could see the lake during breakfast and dinner. The staff were really nice when I asked for help with our tours, they were super kind and helpful!

It wasn't affordable, but still within reason.

I liked the room and the view.

It was too hot in the room. It was uncomfortable to reach the room because it's in a hill. The breakfast area is way too small and there's always waiting to get breakfast which is very very inconvenient. It's super hot in that area. The Restaurant service has a very limited offer and mainly oriented to fast food.
